Hey everyone !
How r ya enjoying the uni lifestyle so far ? I hate to admit it but ive been skipping lectures for south strad haha.. surfs been good :)

Ok, onto how I use new comm. techs. I use the internet everyday so I guess u could say that im pretty into the whole net culture (myspace, youtube, IM), although ive never actually done a blog b4 this. The net is deffinately one of the main ways to stay in touch with my mates but like everyone else i use my mobile way too much ($450 bill..woops).

I use myspace a fair bit, only cause its so damn addictive haha. Wen i first started using it i was thinkin to myself "there is no way i could spend more than 10 mins on this site" but as it turns out i proved myself way wrong !

Im not sure wat to say about my phone. I lost it once n was absolutely devastated, i felt disconnected from everyone for about 2 weeks, so i gues its safe to say that i rely on that piece of new communication technology pretty heavily.

Thats pretty much all the comm. tech i own apart from a mp3 walkman n USB ? Oh actually one comm tech that ive been into for ages, but isnt so new, is yodelling. Me and a few of my mates were hiking thru the forest one day and somehow we were seperated and it was just one of those do-or-die circumstances so we all taught ourselves to yodell our position to eachother.

HEY!

This is my first blog so bear with me haha. I'm Alan and im studying a Bachelor of Arts at Griffith GC. I'm absolutely loving it, especially my psychology classes. I'm into photograhpy and grab any chance i get to capture all the amazing things that happen day to day.

I'm sitting in my New Comm. and tech tute at the moment, which im guessing alot of u reading this are also doing :)
I find the lectures for NCT fantastic. Steve really grabs me with the way he goes further with the presentations.
La Jetee?? I don't know about any1 else but for me, that movie was a mindtrip !

I gues the way this subject will help me with my career is the fact that it is such an accurate and up-to-date course which describes the major technological movements in history, skills which will benefit a photographer/designer who wants to stay in touch with contemporary style.
